Would you like to spend a relaxing day by the sea fishing for whitefish? This traditional style of fishing, often called “rest fishing,” is suitable for almost everyone – from children to grandparents. Bottom fishing is one of the most peaceful and relaxing outdoor activities. In the beautiful coastal scenery of Merikarvia, you can enjoy fresh sea air, spend quality time together, and experience the excitement of catching whitefish. No previous fishing experience is required. Our guides will introduce you to the basics of bottom fishing and share their best tips for a successful day on the water. Included in the trip • Guided fishing excursion • Fishing equipment • Life jackets • Rain and windproof outerwear • Outdoor snacks and refreshments • Fishing permits Please note: The Finnish fisheries management fee is not included and must be paid separately before the trip. What to bring Windproof and waterproof outerwear is available from Eumer for participants taller than 150 cm (4 ft 11 in). Participants under 150 cm should bring their own weather-appropriate and warm outdoor clothing. We recommend that everyone dresses warmly and brings suitable layers to wear underneath the outerwear.
