Accommodation – Your Own Peaceful Hunting Camp

Elandpro Safaris accommodation consists of three comfortable chalets. Each chalet has two beds, a private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, and hot, clean water.

Daily laundry service is included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served each day in the modern dining room.

A Personal Hunting Experience

Elandpro Safaris is a family-run business where guests receive personal attention throughout their stay. The outfitter and Professional Hunter personally take care of meeting guests at the airport, transportation and organising the hunting experience.

This is not a large commercial hunting operation, but a smaller family business focused on providing guests with a personal and relaxed experience.

Namibia – Hunting in the Wilderness

Conditions in Namibia vary throughout the year. During the winter season, particularly in June and July, temperatures generally do not fall to extremely low levels according to Elandpro.

For mornings and evenings, however, guests should bring a good jacket, a long-sleeved shirt and long trousers. Lightweight short boots make walking through sandy terrain easier.

Sun protection is recommended.

According to Elandpro, there are generally few insects and mosquitoes during winter, while snakes are rare.

Hunting Rifle

Bringing your own rifle to Namibia is possible with the required advance preparations. Elandpro recommends calibres such as:

Rifle rental is not included in the package price.

The firearm import application must be completed in advance. Upon arrival, the authorities will check the firearm and its serial number and issue the required permit at the port of entry.

Trophies and Game Meat

The package price includes the trophies of the hunted animals, such as the hide and skull.

The meat of hunted game remains the property of the outfitter. The meat may be used at the hunting camp or sold.

Additional trophies can be hunted according to the separate price list. Extra hunting days can also be booked at an additional cost.
