Sea Trout Fishing on the Gulf of Finland Coast
Hunt the silver-sided predator along the rugged shores of the Gulf of Finland
About This Experience
Sea trout fishing is one of Finland's most captivating angling experiences. The clear waters of the Gulf of Finland, rocky shorelines, outer skerries, and vibrant autumn colours provide the perfect setting for pursuing a fish whose strike you'll remember for years to come. Guided by an experienced fishing guide, we'll fish the Gulf of Finland's best sea trout waters—coastal shallows, island channels, warm current areas, and outer skerries where these silver-sided predators roam. During the day, you'll enjoy a hearty soup lunch on a sheltered island surrounded by nature before continuing the fishing adventure. In 2025, VMB's sea trout trips averaged 2.66 sea trout per trip. Fishing is conducted safely, but often in open sea conditions where the weather can be more demanding than in sheltered bays. To ensure the best possible fishing experience, we recommend a maximum of three anglers per boat. In accordance with current fishing regulations, you may keep a hatchery-reared sea trout with a clipped adipose fin measuring at least 50 cm. Spring season: April – mid-May Autumn season: November – December Trip details * Duration: 8 hours * Group size: 1–3 anglers * One boat with a professional guide * Includes a soup lunch * All necessary fishing equipment is included
