About This Experience

Experience one of North Karelia's finest fishing destinations under the guidance of a professional guide. Höytiäinen is known for its clear waters, expansive open waters and unique archipelago, whose landscapes provide an unforgettable setting for a day of fishing.

The Höytiäinen archipelago is famous for its beautiful sandy-bottomed shores and rare two-tiered islands, surrounded by shoreline zones revealed by the lowering of the lake.

This guided fishing trip focuses especially on active pike casting. During the day, fishing takes place in areas chosen by the guide according to the conditions, making use of local knowledge and up-to-date information on the movements of the fish. The trip is suitable for beginners and experienced anglers alike.

About Us

We’re Aleksi and Jonne, the founders of WildAccess, based in Pirkanmaa, Finland. We share a passion for fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and discovering new places.

WildAccess was born from a simple observation: finding great fishing, hunting, and nature experiences isn’t always easy. Finland and the rest of the Nordic countries are home to incredible destinations and highly skilled local guides and service providers, but information is often scattered across different websites, social media platforms, and personal recommendations.

Our goal is to make these experiences easier to discover and book while helping local guides and service providers reach new customers. We’re building WildAccess to become a Nordic platform—not just a Finnish one—where people can explore and book authentic fishing, hunting, and nature experiences across the region.

We’re developing WildAccess step by step together with our service providers and community. Join us on the journey and discover new ways to experience the Nordic outdoors!
