Join us for an unforgettable seal hunting or seal photography tour in the Rahe Archipelago. The crew of the Arkki vessel will take you into the heart of the Bothnian Bay's spring wilderness, where grey seals gather on rocky skerries and along the edges of the sea ice. This excursion is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and those interested in hunting. Throughout the day, we search for seals, observe their behavior, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the archipelago. Reach the best locations by boat and hovercraft We travel by boat and, when needed, by hovercraft to reach areas that are inaccessible by conventional vehicles. This allows us to safely access the best seal habitats even in changing ice conditions. Each trip is planned according to the day's weather and ice conditions to provide participants with the best possible experience. Seal photography or seal hunting Depending on the nature of the excursion, you can take part in either seal photography or seal hunting. Photographers will have excellent opportunities to capture the grey seals of the Bothnian Bay in their natural habitat. On seal hunting trips, we prepare a meal from the day's harvest whenever possible. Warm cabin and delicious refreshments During the trip, you will enjoy a hot meal and coffee in the comfortable cabin of the boat. The fresh spring sea air, icy landscapes, and great company make for an unforgettable day. Accommodation in the archipelago You can complete your experience by booking accommodation in the historic pilot's cabin on Iso-Kraaseli. The island also offers sauna facilities to round off your adventure.
