About This Experience
Lohjanjärvi is a 88 km² lake in Uusimaa, making it one of the largest lakes in Southern Finland. The lake's deep cold basins (up to 57 m) and extensive reed zones are home to trophy pikeperch averaging 2–4 kg with fish over 8 kg caught regularly. Our guide departs from Lohja marina and covers the productive east basin where submerged points and drop-offs concentrate fish. Trolling with soft plastics and shallow-diving lures on light tackle is the primary technique. Spin fishing from the boat for pike in the northern bay is available as an afternoon option. Suitable for beginners and families — all tackle provided.
