About This Experience
WildAccess partners with a Norwegian operator for this bucket-list sea-fishing trip departing from Alta, gateway to the Norwegian Arctic. The Alta fjord is world-famous for Atlantic halibut over 150 kg, large Atlantic cod (torsk), and coalfish. Our guide boat is a 34-foot Norwegian-built vessel rated for Arctic conditions, with heated cabin and full safety equipment. Jigging and pirk fishing in 80–200 m of water produces multi-species bags every trip. Halibut over 100 cm are returned; smaller fish may be kept within Norwegian quotas. The trip can be combined with a salmon licence on the Alta river for an extra fee. Transfer by minibus from Inari, Finland. Full multi-day packages available on request.
